Bulletins

Saint Cecilia’s weekly bulletin is the primary source of up-to-date information in the parish. It is printed for weekend Masses and posted online for those joining virtually. The bulletin contains the presiders, lectors, readings, community news items, as well as several articles concerning the reading of the week. The bulletin is designed in Adobe InDesign.

In addition to this wealth of information, the bulletin is also a chance to print and discuss a variety of artists who connect to the reading of the week in various ways. I curate a range of artistic disciplines and traditions within the bulletin, as I believe it is important to showcase the plethora of work that exists beyond the traditional norms of Western Christian art. The art featured is typically accompanied by a short biography or artist’s statement in the bulletin to give context.

Throughout my time at Saint Cecilia, I have refined the bulletin by updating the fonts and layout. I have also made a conscious shift to make the bulletin more visually appealing by using engaging photographs and art for our bulletin articles and community news items.
